DONATION WISHLIST!

Every year we look to our community to help us make the Dress Giveaway event a success.  Over the past two years we have been able to offer close to 700 girls in CT and surrounding areas with a free dress for prom.  In order continue doing this we need your support, below is our wishlist for 2012, be sure to check out our Donation Guidelines which are listed at the very bottom of this page.  We are in need of the following items:

  • New or Gently Used Dresses (If you are a bridal boutique or designer we will be more than happy to help you clean out your sample and discontinued dress closet and provide you with a donation receipt)
  • New or almost new shoes, jewelry and accessories
  • Plastic, disposable garment bags (dry cleaner type)
  • Services - hair and makeup consultations, limo service, alterations etc.  
  • Publicity - help use get the word out

DONATION GUIDELINES

We greatly appreciate all donations we receive.  In order to ensure that our efforts are organized and we provide the girls with a beautiful dress for prom, we have developed some guidelines for donations:

  1. All dresses MUST be dry-cleaned and on hangers
  2. All dresses MUST be formal, semi-formal, evening or fancy dresses
  3. Accessories must be clean, in good condition, and stylish

We cannot accept the following:
  • Garments that are not clean and in need of repairs
  • Open makeup items
  • Casual or dated dresses
  • Wedding Dresses
  • Tuxedos or men's clothing
